This Spring Summer 2010 collection was inspired by a trip to Mexico I took with my family in early 2009. The amazing history, architecture, food, dance and musical culture... the blue of Frida Kahlo's Casa Azul ... and her bright yellow kitchen. The incredible embroideries and artisanal detail on display at the Museo de Arte Popular... the dynamism and vibrancy of the Ballet Folklorico de Mexico — just to name a few astonishing inspirations. I hope when you look at this collection you think of a sunny relaxed and languid contentedness (coupled with an irrepressable joie de vivre), because that's how I felt when I was there... Viva la Mexico!
